Lindy’s main goal during a performance is to have people leave the show in a better state than when they walked in. That’s where her soul and energy comes from when she’s on stage.
“Female lead guitarists are pretty rare as it is, but it’s the soulfulness that I want people to walk away remembering,” says Lindy. “Playing lead guitar is like having a conversation. No matter where I am – a live show, or Instagram – I aim to converse when I play guitar. I get comments all the time that I’m a lot of fun to watch, or that I have phenominal stage presence. It’s funny, because that’s the way I communicate. Music is a full body experience, and I want the audience to not just hear it, but experience it with all their senses.”
Currently, Lindy is the lead guitarist for The Killer Queens, the world’s only all-female Queen tribute band.
